Ride in 55: West Virginia Transportation Caucuses
Martinsburg -Solutions/Suggestions
- Coordinate a marketing program with different agencies
- Take existing successful partnership and share success with different groups around the state including legislature
- Take the story of successful partnership and share the story of "how to" with other groups around the state who are in the beginning stages
- Develop partnerships with entities already using technology to assist with route planning and other transportation services
- Use prospective funding vs. historical funding for programs such as duplication of education policy
- Identify new partners to assist with overcoming transportation barriers such as using local volunteer group to remove road obstructions
The West Virginia Transportation Caucuses are funded by the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant to Support the Competitive Employment of People with Disabilities, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - CFDA #1QACMS30059. The lead agency is the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services. This program is managed by the Center for Excellence in Disabilities (CED).
